BRONZE AWARD: Korumburra show 1997
CELLAR: up to 2005. (Bottled July 1998)

FOODS: Try it with spicy Asian food, or any premium steak dish.
Aged for three years in a mix of new American oak and old or reshaved French
oak. This full dark brick-red wine has a dusty chocolate nose, a rich, full
palate with developed berry fruit, and a firm, clean tannic finish.
Well suited to long cellaring.
"We were impressed with the complexity and Médoc-like mouthfeel. We're
very happy to encounter a wine with layers of flavour and savoury, rather than
sweet fruit, characteristics, that isn't hammered by new oak. It wouldn't be
favoured by big-company show judges, but we like it."
.......Cheers, Lester Jesberg (Editor, WINEWISE; November, 1998) Sold out.
